Appeals

Appeals
Appellate work is complicated and time-sensitive. If an appeal is not filed within the prescribed time period, you can lose your right to an appeal. If you are considering appealing a court’s decision, consult with an attorney immediately.

I have handled a wide variety of appellate cases from beginning when I practiced in Oregon over 15 years ago through my last 16 years in Washington. I have argued cases before the Courts of Appeal in Washington and the State Supreme Court. In addition, I handle appellate cases before the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel and the Federal District Court.

Appellate work has always been something that I have enjoyed but it is a fairly small part of my practice.
